How does your wine qualify as ZERO SUGAR?

Our wines are externally lab tested to meet the official requirements to be called zero sugar. Our fermentation process removes the sugar after the alcohol is fermented, meaning the yeast eats the sugars!

The (native or added) yeast eats the sugar, producing alcohol and carbon dioxide as byproducts. We lab test every bottle for sugar so all of our wines have been approved to be labeled as zero sugar with no additives or artificial sugars or grape concentrates.

You aren’t allowed to add sugar to the wines in California, right?

No you’re not. But, you are allowed to add unfermented grape concentrate to wine. On top of that the sugar levels might be higher than others depending on the type of grape and fermentation process. But, DON’T YOU WORRY. We never add any grape concentrate to our products and we make sure that our grapes and fermenting process produces a zero sugar wine.

What makes your wine 100% natural?

We never add any color, concentrate, chemicals, unnecessary additives, or any artificial flavors to our products. Therefore, WE’RE 100% NATURAL!

How much is shipping?

When you purchase a 3-pack, shipping is $18. For larger orders shipping rates starts at $18 depending on your location.

Who will ship my wine?

Our orders are fulfilled by licensed 3rd party retailers in the Accelpay network. Retailers use a variety of fulfillment carriers including GLS and UPS.

What is the turnaround time between placing an order and receiving the order?

4 to 5 days from order date, depending on location. Our retail partners fulfill within 24-48 hours and ground shipping is typically 3-5 days.

Do I have to be at home to receive my wine?

Yes, someone 21 or older with a valid ID must be available to sign for the wine. Due to the nature of alcohol deliveries, make sure that someone aged 21 years or older is available to receive the order during delivery attempts. If not the product risk being returned to us, and any additional shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Why is a signature required for wine shipments?

By federal law, only individuals of 21 years and older are allowed to buy alcoholic beverages. Because the product is shipped or delivered, the carriers must make sure that the purchaser as well as the recipient, on his/her behalf, is 21 years and older.

If no signature can be collected, the carrier will leave a notice for a second or third attempt or further shipping instructions. After that, the shipment will be returned to the sender at cost to the customer.

Can an order that has been shipped be tracked?

Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the carrier name,order and tracking number.

How do I get a refund?

You can request a cancellation or refund up until your product has shipped. Once your wine has been delivered, we are unfortunately unable to offer any refunds. If you are unhappy with the wine or have any other concerns you can always reach out to info@unsweetwine.com!

What do I do if my wine is damaged, I received the wrong product, or my order was never delivered?

First of all, we are so sorry. Please reach out to info@unsweetwine.com within 7 days of the date the wine was delivered/scheduled for delivery and we will replace the wine or issue a credit or refund depending on your preference. If you receive a broken bottle or the wrong number of bottles, please make sure to take a photo and send it along with you email!
